Our Story

Lit for Life Tutoring was founded by educators who chose to continue making a difference beyond the traditional classroom. What began as an extension of our classrooms has grown into a personalized tutoring program dedicated to helping students build confidence, discover their potential, and experience the joy of learning.

Throughout our years in education, we saw an increasing number of students who struggled to read independently or meet grade-level expectations. We also saw firsthand how those challenges affected every area of learning. These experiences strengthened our commitment to supporting students through individualized instruction grounded in evidence-informed practices and the principles of structured literacy.

At Lit for Life Tutoring, we believe literacy is the foundation for success across all subjects. When students become confident readers, they are better equipped to write, solve problems, think critically, and engage with mathematics, science, social studies, and the world around them.
